well, for the first time in my 42 years, I came across what I think is quick sand today.

We Went for a walk today(although we rode close to it), to a hermit home in 1917 dobson cave. About 4km through some ruff bushland Took a while and ruff terrain, I can only imagine how isolated it was in 1917. His name etched in the rocks. From over 100 years ago.. Nice waterfall I had to jump in, cool and refreshing as it was in the 30s here. The sand turned out to be quick sand! Yes quick sand. I’ve never seen quick sand in my 42 years and years of TV shows prepared us for this moment..
And we sunk in the sand upto the top of our legs. Dobsons cave is A very unknown and poorly signed track but we’ll worth it. 34°14’42″S 150°30’22” E. There were markers but it got confusing and we walked 30 minutes in the wrong direction following the markers after fallen trees covered up a fork in the path.
